Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director Leisure & Travel Trade to drive leisure business across our luxury hotels and wilderness lodges. The role will focus on developing strong relationships with the travel trade, expanding key domestic and international markets, and achieving revenue and business development targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive leisure room revenue and F&B; business across hotels and wilderness lodges.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with DMCs, FTOs, travel agents and tour operators.
- Strengthen the property's presence across key domestic and international leisure markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term travel trade partnerships.
- Coordinate with DMCs and FTOs for group movements, FITs and experiential travel.
- Work closely with Revenue, Reservations and Operations teams to maximise business conversion.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings and market visits.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, travel exhibitions and industry events.




- Develop new accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing travel partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and business opportunities.
- Prepare sales plans and ensure achievement of revenue and business development targets.

What Were Looking For
- Strong experience in Leisure Sales / Travel Trade Sales, preferably within luxury or 5-star hotels, resorts or lodges.
- Established network with DMCs, FTOs, travel agents and key travel partners.
- Good understanding of FIT, group business and experiential/wilderness travel.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to develop current markets and key accounts.
- Target-oriented approach with strong business development capabilities.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive conversions and revenue.
