ROLE PURPOSE
Build and scale BMU CCE’s corporate Executive Education and workforce-transformation business across Mumbai and Western India. Own new-business acquisition, consultative solution selling, strategic account development and ecosystem building, engaging CHROs, L&D; leaders, Business Heads and CXOs to convert organisational capability needs into high-value learning solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own regional revenue target and build a predictable pipeline of corporate opportunities from target accounts through closure, repeat business and expansion.
- Acquire and develop relationships with CHROs, CLOs, L&D;/Talent Heads, CEOs/MDs, Business Heads and functional leaders across BFSI, GCCs, manufacturing, automotive, IT/ITES, pharma, FMCG/FMCD and emerging businesses.
- Diagnose business and capability gaps and co-create customised solutions spanning Executive Education, Leadership Development, Functional Capability, AI & Digital Transformation, Sales, Managerial Effectiveness, Women in Leadership, Corporate Academies and Hire-Train-Deploy programmes.
- Lead proposal development, senior-level presentations, commercial negotiations and closure in partnership with BMU faculty, programme, marketing, finance and delivery teams.
- Build strategic accounts through cross-sell, up-sell, multi-programme and annual/multi-year learning partnerships; drive repeat business, referrals and account lifetime value.
- Develop the market through CHRO/L&D; forums, industry associations, CXO events, roundtables, masterclasses, webinars,
faculty-led thought leadership and referral networks.
- Create partnerships with corporates, consulting firms, HR/L&D; networks, professional bodies, staffing/talent organisations, EdTech/B2B learning firms, universities and business schools.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline, opportunity-stage management, forecasting, account plans, conversion tracking and pipeline reporting.
SUCCESS METRICS
Revenue: ₹3–5 Cr annually | New Accounts: 15–20 | Qualified Opportunities: 75–100 | Proposal Value: ₹8–12 Cr
Repeat/Expansion Revenue: 30%+ | Avg. Deal Size: ₹15–30 Lakh+ | CXO/CHRO Meetings: 10–12/month | Proposal-to-Closure: 20–30%
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Graduate degree mandatory; MBA/PGDM preferred. 12–15 years overall experience, including 5+ years in B2B sales/business development, with demonstrated experience selling to corporate decision-makers.
Preferred backgrounds: Executive Education/Business Schools, Corporate Learning & Development, Management Consulting, Leadership Development, EdTech/B2B Learning, HR/Talent Solutions, Corporate Training or Professional Services.
