Role & Responsibilities

- Assembly Line Management: Execute and oversee daily production operations on the Room Air Conditioner (RAC) / HVAC assembly line, ensuring manufacturing targets are met consistently.
- Line Balancing & Manpower Allocation: Optimize line efficiency by planning, balancing, and deploying manpower effectively across various assembly stages based on daily production schedules and process flows.
- Quality & Rejection Control: Monitor hourly and daily process rejection data; implement root-cause analysis and immediate corrective actions to minimize defects and reduce material waste.
- Material Tracking & ERP Management: Record, monitor, and transfer daily material consumption data on the shop floor using SAP (PP Module) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and suggest continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing) to boost yield and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Compliance & Safety:



Ensure the production floor operates in strict compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Educational Background: B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in Production or Assembly Line operations, preferably within the HVAC, White Goods, Consumer Electronics, or Automotive OEM/ODM sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SAP (PP Module) or similar ERP systems, along with MES tools for real-time production tracking.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working with Air Conditioner assembly (Split/Window ACs), brazing operations, and refrigerant handling is highly desirable.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate shop-floor operators and contract labor in a high-pressure, target-driven workplace.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, analytical problem-solver, detail-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced manufacturing shifts.
