Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare) will design, build, and deploy AI solutions that address complex healthcare challenges, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and decision support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and training machine learning models, implementing pattern recognition and neural network algorithms, and working with NLP techniques to extract insights from medical text and clinical documentation. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, data scientists, and healthcare domain experts, to translate business needs into robust AI systems and integrate these into existing software platforms.





This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, where in-person collaboration is expected, while some work-from-home flexibility is available.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable application design.
- Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially applied to healthcare data such as clinical notes and medical literature.
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and version control systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to work with healthcare datasets, understanding of data privacy and compliance considerations is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare technology, consulting, or product development is a plus.
