Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, assurance, and accounting engagements under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, performing ledger scrutiny, and supporting finalization of accounts. The role also involves helping with tax return preparation, compliance documentation, and basic financial analysis, as well as maintaining accurate records and client files.

The Articled

Assistant will interact with clients for data collection and clarification, follow professional standards,



and contribute to meeting engagement timelines. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ernakulam.

Qualifications

- Registered as a CA student (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per ICAI requirements) and eligible for articleship training.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing standards, taxation concepts, and basic corporate laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with accounting and ERP software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Capacity to work in a structured environment, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines during peak periods.
- Demonstrated integrity, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and on-the-job training.
- Interest in building a long-term career in audit, taxation, and professional practice; prior internship exposure is an advantage.
