Primary Objective: To manage distributor networks, drive sales growth, expand market coverage, and achieve business targets across the assigned territory.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Distributor Management
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing distributors and dealers.
- Identify and appoint current distributors to expand the distribution network.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock availability, and sales operations.
2. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
3. Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess business potential.
- Develop new dealer networks and strengthen existing channel partnerships.
4. Team Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular guidance.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth sales operations.
5. Stock & Supply Management
- Ensure adequate stock availability at distributor points.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product replenishment.
- Minimize stock shortages and ensure timely order fulfillment.
6. Payment & Credit Management
- Monitor distributor outstanding payments and credit limits.
- Ensure timely collection of payments.
- Coordinate with the finance department regarding overdue accounts.
7. Market Intelligence & Competition
- Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and promotional schemes.
- Monitor market trends and customer requirements.
- Provide regular market feedback and business updates to management.
8. Sales Reporting & Business Planning
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance reports.
- Track sales achievement against assigned targets.
- Implement promotional schemes and channel development initiatives.
