AdGrid is an early-stage AdTech and FinTech company based in Gurugram, building a platform at the intersection of advertising technology and financial infrastructure. We are a small, fast-moving team hiring the people who will help shape the company from the ground up.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a retail sales leader to build and scale AdGrid's business across Delhi NCR. You will own go-to-market for the region, build and lead the field sales team, drive device deployment across general trade and kirana counters, and own both merchant acquisition and retention. The role needs someone equally solid at strategy and execution: you design the plan and run the beat with your team on the ground.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Strategy & market development

- Own the retail plan for Delhi NCR: market prioritisation, territory design, coverage, beat plans and density targets.
- Build and refine the acquisition and activation playbook, and roll it out across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
- Convert merchants from competitors and win share in contested markets.

Merchant acquisition, activation & retention

- Drive onboarding of new merchants at pace and at quality.
- Move merchants from onboarded to actively transacting, not just signed up.
- Own retention: reduce churn and grow throughput per counter.

Device deployment

- Own deployment end to end: planning, installation, activation, uptime and servicing.
- Work with operations and supply on readiness, replacements and field support.

Relationships & business development

- Build lasting relationships with merchants, distributors, and local market and trade associations.
- Represent the brand in business meetings and negotiations, and open channel and distribution partnerships where needed.

Team leadership & performance

- Build, hire and lead the field sales team (Territory Managers / Sales Officers and their executives); set targets,



incentives and the operating rhythm.
- Coach in the field and own team ramp, productivity and retention.
- Own the region's numbers: review cadence, forecasting, budget, and funnel tracking through dashboards and CRM.

KEY SUCCESS METRICS

- Merchants onboarded, activated and retained, against plan.
- Devices deployed and live, with uptime.
- Throughput and revenue per counter.
- Coverage and density across Delhi NCR.
- Field team productivity, ramp and attrition.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 6-8+ years in retail/field sales, with strong depth in Indian general trade, kirana and GT counters.
- Experience in FMCG distribution, fintech merchant sales, or SaaS/solution sales to retail.
- Proven experience building and leading a multi-layer field sales team and owning its numbers.
- Strong in both strategy and execution: you can design the plan and run the beat yourself.
- Exceptional relationship and communication skills: you adapt your approach to different retail stakeholders and carry a business meeting with confidence.
- Comfortable spending most of your time in the market.
- Judgment-led use of AI and modern sales tools (CRM, dashboards, outreach): faster output and sharper decisions, but you own the numbers and the quality of what ships.
