About the Role
Own end-to-end AR and AP operations for Rassense’s food service business. Manage invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, collections, reconciliations, TDS compliance, MIS reporting, audits, and process improvements through ERP/SAP. The role protects cash flow, reporting accuracy, statutory compliance, and stakeholder relationships.
Success means timely payments, reduced overdue receivables, accurate ledgers, audit readiness, and stronger finance processes. This position is based in Bengaluru and requires travel to various sites for approximately 10–12 days once or twice each month. Only qualified Chartered Accountants will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor invoice verification, accounting entries, approvals, advances, debit notes,
and ERP/SAP recording for accurate accounts payable processing.
- Plan vendor payments, monitor due dates, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with procurement, operations, and treasury.
- Lead vendor reconciliations, customer billing, collections, ageing reviews, and account reconciliations to reduce overdue balances.
- Ensure accurate TDS deductions, remittances, returns, challans, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
- Prepare AP/AR ageing reports, payment trackers, outstanding summaries, and MIS while improving controls and automation.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; candidates without a completed CA qualification will not be considered.
- Eight to ten years of relevant AR and AP experience, including payments, collections, reconciliations, TDS, reporting, and audit support.
- Hands-on ERP experience, preferably SAP, with strong MS Excel and financial reporting capability.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and practical experience strengthening controls, SOPs, and finance processes.
Additional Plus
- Tamil, English, and Hindi speaking ability is advantageous for coordination across stakeholders and operating sites.
- Experience in food services, hospitality, food and beverage,
or multi-site businesses is beneficial.
- Experience improving finance automation, ERP processes, controls, or SOPs is valuable.
