Role OverviewThe Application Packaging Lead / Specialist will lead application packaging and release management activities for Digital Workplace Services. The role will own BAU delivery, SLAs, quality, CSAT, continuous improvement, stakeholder management and application packaging governance.

Required Hands-on Experience
- Robust experience in Win32/Intune application packaging, detection rules and supersedence.
- Hands-on experience with PatchMyPC catalog evaluation, application onboarding and publishing to Intune.
- Experience in malware/hash verification using VirusTotal.
- Experience with AppLocker / WDAC application control.
- Experience in QA/UAT gating and controlled production releases with rollback readiness.
- Strong PowerShell / PSADT scripting experience.




- Experience with ServiceNow-integrated application lifecycle tracking.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end BAU delivery, SLAs, quality and CSAT for the application packaging function.
- Lead application packaging and deployment activities using Intune and PatchMyPC.
- Design, develop and maintain application packages and deployment configurations.
- Manage detection rules, metadata and supersedence.
- Perform security validation and application control checks.
- Drive QA, UAT and controlled production releases with rollback readiness.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, processes and packaging standards.
- Drive problem management, trend analysis and continuous service improvement.
- Act as the primary interface with L3 service owners and stakeholders.
- Manage escalations and provide operational governance/reporting inputs.
- Coach and oversee junior application packaging engineers.
- Support capacity and skills planning.

- PowerShell / App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) training or certification

Note: ITIL 4 Foundation is expected for the role.
