LinqOps is a fast-growing SaaS platform for Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), built by people who run a DSP. Around 4,000 daily active users across multiple time zones rely on our platform to run their delivery operations, from fleet and payroll compliance to driver tracking, hiring, and daily dispatch.

We're now building a native Android app so drivers and field teams can stay connected in real time while they're on the road. We're looking for an Android Developer to own that app from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and own our native Android app, from architecture to Play Store release
- Build real-time features: push notifications, background services, and in-app audio
- Make the app reliable on devices used all day in the field, with poor connectivity, battery constraints, and hands-busy use
- Integrate with our TypeScript backend APIs and event-driven platform
- Ship features end to end, then improve them based on feedback from drivers and DSP owners
- Collaborate with a distributed product, engineering, and operations team across India and the US

TECH STACK

- Kotlin and native Android (Jetpack)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Backend: TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL
- Cloud: AWS, GCP, SST
- Event-driven architecture

MUST-HAVES

- 3+ years of native Android development in Kotlin
- At least one production app published on the Google Play Store
- Strong experience with foreground services, background work, and Android lifecycle and battery constraints (Doze, app standby)




- Hands-on experience with FCM push notifications
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling authentication securely
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup setting
- Clear written English for async collaboration
- Availability to work approx. 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST

PREFERRED

- Experience with audio recording and playback (MediaRecorder, ExoPlayer/Media3, audio focus, codecs such as Opus)
- Experience with real-time or voice communication apps
- Jetpack Compose
- Experience with enterprise device management (MDM) or rugged Android devices
- Offline-first design and sync
- Familiarity with TypeScript or backend development
- Background in logistics, fleet, or field-workforce apps

ENGAGEMENT

- Compensation: ₹10–16 LPA, based on experience and skill set
- Contract-to-hire: we start with a contract role, and the goal is a full-time offer for strong performers who are interested and available
- Location: 100% remote, India
- Working hours: approx. 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST, overlapping with US Eastern business hours
