We’re hiring an Analytics Consultant to join our fast growing team. This hands-on analytics role supports our Japan client facing team and is dedicated to our Japan business. You’ll apply advanced analytics, Agentic AI, real world data (RWD), and predictive modelling to deliver high impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments in Japan.

In this role, you will work closely with our Japan Client Solutions team, turning client questions into analytical designs, delivering the analysis, and preparing the insights they present to pharma stakeholders. We’re looking for someone adaptable, flexible, and hungry. A consultant who thrives on tackling complex pharma challenges end to end and driving measurable results.

- Take end to end ownership of analytical projects, from scoping client questions to delivering insights that drive meaningful results.

What You’ll Do

- Support the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products, from development to market launch and post market monitoring, using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.
- Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and brand performance analysis (e.g., patient share, persistence, switching) to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Use Agentic AI to automate your day to day analytics work, from data preparation and analysis to reporting, so insights are delivered faster and more efficiently.
- Develop interactive dashboards, visualisations, and presentations that the client facing team uses to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productised solutions that align with our platform vision.
- Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in Agentic AI, machine learning, and advanced SQL to ensure consistent quality and drive innovation.
- Work closely with senior team members and peers to deliver high quality outcomes and contribute to a culture of analytical excellence and continuous learning.

Essential Criteria

- 3–5 years' experience in pharma analytics, leveraging longitudinal real-world patient datasets to solve use cases such as patient journeys and lines of therapy, persistence and switching, patient and market sizing, hospital level targeting,



and brand performance tracking.
- Strong solutioning mindset: able to unpack requirements through probing Q&A; with the client-facing team, translate business needs into analytical designs, and own the problem→solution path.
- Exposure to Agentic AI (e.g., building or working with LLM based agents and AI assisted analytics workflows) is strongly desirable.
- Strong communication skills: able to explain analytical approaches and results clearly, and work iteratively with the client-facing team to refine scope.
- Technical excellence: advanced SQL (joins, windows, aggregations); Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost); data viz in Power BI; strong Excel skills.
- Experience with Databricks/PySpark is a plus. Able to take a brief and query/shape data end-to-end independently.
- Healthcare analytics background with real-world/claims/EMR data; comfortable with clinical context (e.g., indications, lines of therapy, persistence, switching) and quick to learn unfamiliar disease areas.
- Familiarity with Japanese real-world data (MDV, DeSC, or JMDC) is preferred, or a demonstrated ability to quickly get up to speed.
- Degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Economics) or equivalent experience.
- Mindset: hungry, curious, and proactive - eager to learn and continuously raise the bar for the team.
