Position: Analog and Mixed Signal (BB80FT RM 4463)

As a Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a fully verified physical layout from floorplanning through tape-out while ensuring all technical, quality, and schedule requirements are met. You will manage the complete physical design cycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive successful project execution in a Cadence design environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, top-level routing, physical verification, and design finishing.
- Manage the physical design phase from project planning through tape-out, ensuring quality, documentation, design reviews, and milestone tracking.
- Lead and coordinate physical designers while monitoring project progress and resolving design challenges.




- Perform physical implementation using Cadence Virtuoso and ensure compliance with process and technology guidelines.
- Support high-frequency and mmWave IC designs by optimizing layout for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Chair technical improvement meetings, maintain technology-specific documentation, and contribute to quality and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Physical Design.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso.
- Solid knowledge of high-frequency/mmWave layout design and physical implementation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Versatile, proactive, and capable of working effectively under tight project timelines.
