About the Role

AI5 Academy is looking for an experienced UI/UX or Product Design skilled who actively uses Generative AI in their design workflow.

This is not a traditional Figma teaching position with one AI module added to the end.

The trainer should be able to teach the complete AI-first product-design workflow:

Research → User understanding → Information architecture → User flows → Wireframing → AI-generated UI → Figma Make → Prototyping → Testing → Iteration → Portfolio The current AI5 programme specifically combines traditional design judgement with Figma AI, Figma Make and AI-assisted research, prototyping and testing. No coding is required for the learner.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver live instructor-led UI/UX + AI sessions.
- Demonstrate AI-assisted UX research and user understanding.
- Teach persona, user journey and problem-framing workflows.
- Convert product requirements into information architecture and user flows.
- Teach AI-assisted wireframing and interface generation.
- Demonstrate Figma AI and Figma Make.
- Teach responsive design, hierarchy, typography, accessibility and visual consistency.
- Teach AI-product UX patterns such as chatbots, copilots, AI search,



uncertainty states and human-approval flows.
- Demonstrate usability testing and AI-assisted iteration.
- Guide learners through portfolio-quality end-to-end projects.
- Review assignments and provide actionable design feedback.
- Keep examples and tool workflows updated as AI design capabilities change.

Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of professional UI/UX, product design or digital-product experience preferred.
- Strong Figma experience.
- Demonstrable use of Generative AI in actual design work.
- Portfolio showing real product/design projects.
- Able to explain design judgement, not just software features.
- Comfortable conducting live screen-share demonstrations.
- Strong communication and mentoring ability.
