Make films with cameras that don't exist.

Brandhero is looking for an AI Filmmaker / Generative Video Director who can combine filmmaking craft with generative AI to create high-quality commercial films, brand stories and visual experiences.

This is not just a prompt-engineering role and not simply an AI video-editing role.

We are looking for someone who understands story, composition, camera movement, lighting, pacing and visual language and knows how to use AI as a creative tool to bring that vision to life.

What you'll own

Take films from concept to final cut

Develop concepts, scripts and visual directions

Design shots with intentional camera movement, composition and lighting

Maintain character and product consistency across scenes

Generate, refine and edit AI video assets

Handle editing, pacing, sound and colour

Work with designers, writers and technologists to turn ideas into finished films

Build repeatable AI filmmaking workflows that the studio can scale

Experiment with new generative video and storytelling tools

What great looks like

Your shots are chosen, not simply accepted

Your product or character looks consistent from the first shot to the last

Your films have a clear story and visual direction

You know when to stop generating and start editing The final output feels directed and finished, not like a collection of AI clips

What we care about

Taste. Story. Film language. Continuity. Finished output.

We care much less about how many AI tools you've tried.

You don't need to know every tool.



You need to know how to make a good film and how to use the right tools to make it better.

Tools you may work with

Kling · Veo · Runway · Midjourney · and other emerging AI video/image tools.

Tool knowledge is useful, but strong creative judgment matters more.

What we're looking for

Solid visual storytelling and understanding of filmmaking

Experience with film direction, scripting or visual direction

Experience taking video projects from idea to finished output

Good understanding of editing, sound, pacing and colour

Familiarity with generative AI video/image tools

Strong attention to detail and visual consistency

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Willingness to experiment, learn quickly and fix imperfect generations A strong portfolio of films, commercials, brand stories or experimental visual work A film/media/design degree is welcome, but your work matters more than your degree.

You stop at the first good-looking generation

You don't enjoy fixing continuity or visual inconsistencies

You need constant supervision to move work forward
