Role Description The AI Automation Engineer role at AI Dreamlab is a full-time, in office position based in Chennai. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automation systems that integrate AI models, control systems, and robotics to optimize industrial and commercial processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical solutions, configure hardware and software components, and conduct testing and validation.

Daily tasks include troubleshooting automation issues, refining process control logic, documenting system architectures, and supporting deployment and continuous improvement efforts.



You will also be involved in evaluating new tools and technologies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control to design, configure, and optimize automated systems.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Robotics and Electrical Engineering to integrate hardware, sensors, actuators, and control circuits.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues in complex automation and AI-driven environments.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in relevant programming or scripting languages for automation and AI integration.
- Candidates should have strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and real-time data processing will be considered an advantage.
