Position Summary The AGM – Human Resources will lead the end-to-end HR function and act as a strategic HR Business Partner to Management and Functional HODs. The role will drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, compliance, HR operations, and HR transformation.

The incumbent should be a proactive, outgoing, and business-oriented HR leader who can partner effectively with HODs, lead cross-functional initiatives, guide the HR team, and introduce innovative, automated, and AI-enabled HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

1.



Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnering

- Partner with Management, Business Heads, and HODs to align HR initiatives with business requirements.
- Act as an HR Business Partner to functions, understanding manpower, capability, performance, engagement, and employee relations needs.
- Drive workforce planning, succession planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the HR team and ensure effective execution of HR deliverables.
- Develop and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, systems, and processes.

2. Cross-Functional Projects & HR Transformation

- Partner with HODs on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives, taking ownership from planning through implementation.
- Identify and introduce new HR projects to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
- Drive automation, digitalization, AI-enabled solutions, and process improvement across HR and relevant cross-functional processes.
- Provide HR support and solutions for organizational restructuring, productivity, capability building, and change initiatives.

3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Lead recruitment strategy, manpower planning, campus hiring, lateral hiring, and critical/leadership hiring.
- Partner with HODs to define manpower requirements, JDs, selection criteria, and hiring plans.
- Drive employer branding, talent pipeline development, and recruitment process improvement.

4. Performance Management & Talent Development

- Drive KRA/KPI setting, performance reviews,



appraisals, calibration, and performance improvement processes.
- Partner with managers on performance management and employee development.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and high-potential initiatives.
- Develop and drive L&D;, competency mapping, leadership development, and structured onboarding programs.

5. Employee Relations & Engagement

- Maintain a visible and approachable HR presence across departments.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building, communication, retention, and recognition initiatives.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues in coordination with HODs.

6. Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations

- Oversee compensation reviews, benefits, HR budgeting, and salary benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, audits, and HR policies.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, HRMS, payroll coordination, and exits.
- Drive HR MIS, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Competencies

- 10 years of strong HR Business Partnering and stakeholder management experience.
- Proactive, outgoing, approachable, and comfortable working with HODs and senior leadership.
- Solid cross-functional collaboration and project management capability.
- Ability to guide and mentor the HR team while managing multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
- Digital and AI mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resource Management from a reputed institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a re
