Role Description The Agency Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Aurangabad.

The Agency

Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing a team of insurance advisors and agents, ensuring they are trained and motivated to achieve sales and service targets. The role involves driving health insurance sales through the agency channel, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and customer acquisition.

Manager will collaborate with local branch leadership and cross-functional teams to support marketing activities, resolve operational issues, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.



Daily tasks also include field visits, coaching and mentoring agents, conducting review meetings, and fostering a culture of customer-centricity and ethical selling practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales, business development, and agency management skills, with experience in driving targets through a team-based distribution model.

- Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, coaching, performance management, and stakeholder relationship building.

- Candidates should possess customer relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on service quality.

- Candidates should possess basic analytical, reporting, and planning skills to track performance, interpret data, and execute local growth strategies.

- Candidates should possess transparent and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

- Prior experience in health insurance, BFSI, or related financial services in an agency or distribution role is highly beneficial.

- Graduate degree in any discipline is preferred; a postgraduate or MBA in marketing, finance, or insurance is an advantage.

- Ability to work on-site in Aurangabad, conduct regular field visits, and adapt to a dynamic, target-driven environment.

- Familiarity with basic computer applications and digital tools used for sales, reporting, and customer servicing.
