About the Role

We are looking for motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join Bharti AXA Life Insurance as Insurance Advisors. The Insurance Advisor will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, understanding their financial protection and insurance requirements, explaining suitable life insurance solutions, and building long-term relationships with customers.

The role provides an opportunity to develop a career in the life insurance and financial-services sector while working under the guidance and support of a Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Acquisition and Business Development

Identify and develop new prospective customers through personal networks, references, local contacts, and other legitimate business-development activities.

Generate leads and arrange meetings with prospective customers.

Understand customers' financial protection, savings, retirement, and insurance requirements.

Develop and maintain a healthy customer prospect pipeline.

Work towards achieving assigned business and sales objectives.

- Insurance Product Presentation

Explain relevant life insurance products, benefits, policy features, premium-payment options, exclusions, and applicable terms to customers.

Provide information accurately and transparently and help customers understand the product before making a purchase decision.

Assist customers in selecting products appropriate to their stated requirements, subject to company guidelines and eligibility.

- Customer Relationship Management

Maintain regular contact with existing customers.

Provide appropriate assistance regarding policy-related queries and service requirements.

Develop long-term relationships and encourage customer retention.





Generate business through customer references and referrals where appropriate.

- Documentation and Policy Processing

Assist customers in completing proposal forms and submitting the required documents.

Ensure that information provided in proposal forms is accurate and complete.

Coordinate with the company for medical requirements, underwriting information, policy issuance, and other necessary documentation.

Follow all company procedures relating to Know Your Customer (KYC), documentation, and policy processing.

- After-Sales Service

Help customers understand their policy documents and important policy conditions.

Coordinate with the appropriate company channels for service requests, policy changes, premium-related queries, and claims-related assistance.

Maintain regular communication with customers regarding their policy servicing requirements.

- Compliance and Ethical Conduct

Follow Bharti AXA Life Insurance's rules, procedures, and code of conduct.

Follow applicable insurance regulations and guidelines issued by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

Never make false promises or misrepresent policy benefits, returns, charges, exclusions, or other terms.

Maintain confidentiality of customer information and documents.

Training and Support The selected Insurance Advisor will receive guidance from the Development Manager, including:

Product and process training.

Sales and customer-handling training.

Assistance with prospecting and lead generation.





Guidance on conducting customer meetings and presentations.

Regular performance reviews and business-development support.

Guidance regarding licensing, examinations, and regulatory requirements applicable to insurance agents.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should preferably have

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A customer-oriented approach.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Basic understanding of financial products and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and manage a customer/prospect network.

Positive attitude and willingness to achieve business objectives.

Experience: Freshers as well as experienced candidates may be considered, subject to applicable eligibility and licensing requirements.
