Role Overview

As an Admissions Counsellor – UK Market, you will be responsible for connecting with prospective students and working professionals in the UK, understanding their career goals, counselling them on suitable programmes and guiding qualified prospects through the enrolment process.

This is a target-oriented outbound calling role requiring strong communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective learners in the UK market.
- Understand prospects' educational background, professional experience and career goals.
- Counsel prospects on suitable Ashwood Education programmes.
- Clearly explain programme structure, curriculum, certification, practical learning and career-support features.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and maintain regular follow-ups.
- Identify qualified prospects and convert enquiries into successful enrolments.
- Handle objections professionally and provide accurate information.
- Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups and enrolment status in the CRM.
- Achieve individual and team-based admission/enrolment targets.
- Follow up consistently with interested prospects to move them through the admissions process.




- Coordinate with the admissions and placement teams where required.
- Maintain a professional and consultative approach throughout the sales process.

Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who are:
- Excellent in spoken English with strong communication skills.
- Confident, persuasive and comfortable speaking with UK-based prospects.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Target-oriented and motivated by achieving sales/admission goals.
- Good at identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Strong in objection handling, negotiation and follow-up.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Qualified, energetic and eager to grow within the organisation.

Experience

Preferred:

- 1–3 years of experience in sales, admissions counselling, education counselling, telesales, inside sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Experience dealing with UK/International customers or students will be an advantage.

Freshers: Candidates with excellent English communication skills and a strong interest in sales may also be considered.
