We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Admission / Educational Counsellor to guide students and parents through the admission process. The candidate will be responsible for understanding students’ educational goals, recommending suitable courses/programs, handling enquiries, and converting prospective enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.

- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp enquiries, emails, and walk-in enquiries.

- Understand students’ interests, academic background, and career goals.

- Recommend suitable courses/programs based on the student's requirements.

- Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly.

- Explain the admission process, documentation, fees, schedules, and other relevant details.

- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, counselling sessions, and admissions.

- Convert qualified leads into successful admissions.

- Achieve individual and team admission/enrolment targets.

- Coordinate with the academic and administration teams for smooth admissions.

- Address queries and concerns from students and parents professionally.

- Maintain strong relationships with prospective and enrolled students.

- Participate in seminars, career fairs, workshops, and student outreach activities when required.

- Prepare regular reports on enquiries,



follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- 1–3 years of experience in educational counselling, admissions, inside sales, tele-counselling, or a related field.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good convincing, counselling, and negotiation abilities.

- Comfortable making frequent calls and following up with leads.

- Solid customer/student relationship management skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM, or lead-management tools.

- Target-oriented and proactive approach.

- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Hindi/Marathi.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in an educational institute, training centre, college, university, or ed-tech company.

- Previous experience handling admission or counselling targets.

- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.

- Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance.

- Number of enquiries handled.

- Counselling-to-admission conversion rate.

- Number of successful admissions.

- Achievement of monthly admission targets.

- Student/parent satisfaction.

- Accuracy of lead and admission records.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
