Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director Murex Application Support Engineer to lead production support and platform reliability for mission-critical Murex systems. This role requires deep expertise in Murex Connectivity 2.0, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across trading and back-office ecosystems.

You will be responsible for maintaining system stability, troubleshooting complex issues, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring optimal performance of Murex production environments supporting capital markets operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as SME for Murex Connectivity 2.0 within production and support environments
- Provide L2/L3 support for critical business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents,



performance bottlenecks, and integration failures
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, Dev, Infra, and Business stakeholders
- Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and automation
- Lead decision-making for cross-team technical challenges
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and documentation
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, audit requirements, and regulatory standards

Must-Have Qualifications

- 18+ years of experience in IT, with extensive exposure to capital markets systems
- Strong hands-on expertise in Murex Connectivity 2.0
- Proven experience in application support within banking/financial services
- Deep understanding of trade lifecycle and system integrations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience handling high-severity production incidents

Nice to Have

- Experience in Murex Back Office Workflows
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments
- SQL and database troubleshooting skills
- ITIL certification or production support governance exposure
- Automation scripting (Shell/Python)
