Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Active Directory L2 Engineer to provide enterprise-level support for Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Active Directory administration, identity and access management, Windows infrastructure, Group Policy troubleshooting, and hybrid identity environments . The role involves resolving L2 incidents, performing root-cause analysis, maintaining service availability, and collaborating with L1/L3, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) , including:
- Users, groups, computers, OUs and security permissions
- User and computer account management
- Password and account lockout issues
- Access and authentication-related issues
- Create, configure, manage and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) .
- Troubleshoot:
- Authentication and login issues
- AD replication problems
- Domain controller-related issues
- Group Policy application failures
- User and computer access issues
- Provide administration and L2 support for Windows Server environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
- Support LDAP services and directory-integrated applications.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , including:
- Users and groups
- Roles and permissions
- Access management
- Authentication-related issues
- Support hybrid identity environments , including:
- Microsoft Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect
- Directory synchronization
- MFA
- Conditional Access
- Handle and resolve L2 incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical incidents.
- Work closely with L1/L3 support, cloud,



cybersecurity, network and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures and knowledge-base articles.
- Participate in infrastructure changes, upgrades, maintenance activities and incident resolution.
- Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem and change management.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Group Policy (GPO) administration and troubleshooting
- Windows Server Administration
- DNS and DHCP
- LDAP
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Enterprise-level incident and problem troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hybrid identity and directory synchronization
- Basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting

Good to Have

- Experience with Microsoft Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect
- MFA and Conditional Access administration
- Microsoft identity and security technologies
- ITIL/ITSM processes
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or relevant identity certifications
- Experience working in large enterprise environments

Experience & Qualification

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in:
- Active Directory Administration
- Windows Infrastructure
- IAM / Identity Management
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments is preferred.
