Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable/procure-to-pay processes
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software, such as QuickBooks and SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management preferred

Responsibilities

- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices for payment,



and match purchase orders and receiving documentation as required
- Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals before payment
- Prepare and process ACH and wire payments to vendors
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status
- Set up and maintain vendor files, including W-9s and payment terms
- Organize and maintain accounts payable records in accordance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
- Prepare accounts payable aging reports and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist with accounts payable accruals and 1099 preparation
- Support the Accounts Payable Manager during month-end and year-end close
