Role & responsibilities

Accounting & Book Closure

- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage and supervise the daily accounting activities of the company.
- Period-End Closing: Ensure accurate and timely monthly closure of books.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, and Cash Flow Statements.

MIS & Management Reporting

- Strategic Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS and detailed financial reports to senior management.
- Data Support: Provide management with accurate, real-time financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Direct Tax: Manage monthly TDS calculations, timely payments, and quarterly return filings.
- Indirect Tax: Handle GST compliances across multiple states. (GSTR 3B, GSTR 1, GSTR 9)

Regulatory Adherence

- Ensure full compliance with all applicable income tax and indirect tax regulations.

Audit & Finalization

- Audit Management: Lead and manage quarterly audits.
- Annual Closing: Assist in the finalization of annual accounts.
- Due Diligence:



Coordinate and provide necessary support for investor due diligence processes.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Maintain continuous liaison with internal departments, including Tech, Treasury, Strategy, and Payroll, to ensure seamless financial operations.

Accounting Standards

- Ensure strict adherence to Indian GAAP and Ind-AS requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Communication: Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel is mandatory.
- Software: Updated working knowledge of Tally ERP; ability to quickly adapt to internal or custom ERP systems.
- Domain Expertise: Strong conceptual understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and audit processes.

Preferred candidate profile

- Industry Experience: Experience in NBFCs would be an added advantage.
- Experience Range: 1 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing along the Western Line, Mumbai.
