Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Goregaon. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, and preparing invoices and credit notes. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, assisting with financial statements and management reports,



and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for documentation, payments, collections, and audit requirements, while helping improve accounting processes and accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of core accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, MS Excel, and basic data analysis for financial records and reports.
- Understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to corporate accounting in India.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage documentation and records systematically.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and auditors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or chemicals industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
