Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves maintaining accurate ledgers, preparing periodic financial statements, and supporting budgeting and cost control for ongoing electrical projects.

The Accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, assist with GST and TDS filings, and coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed.



The position also requires close collaboration with project and site teams to align billing, collections, and cash flow with project timelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid core accounting skills such as bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

Candidates should possess skills in tax and regulatory compliance, including GST, TDS, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards.

Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Tally or similar ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills.

Candidates should possess abilities in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis to support project-based work.

Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, vendors, and clients.

Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience in construction, contracting, or project-based industries will be considered an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,587.45 - ₹40,000.00 per month
