Role Description The Accountant role at Paxora Packaging is a full time, in office position based in Nagpur. The individual in this role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and bills.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flows, and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing. The Accountant will support budgeting and financial reporting, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations,



and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, identifying variances or discrepancies, and providing data-driven insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to generate and analyze financial reports.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and standard accounting practices.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Intermediate, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or packaging industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Nagpur and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
