Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Hospet. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include invoicing, tracking receivables and payables, preparing GST and other statutory reports, and assisting with monthly and annual closing. The role involves supporting budgeting, cost control related to logistics operations, and providing accurate financial data to management.



The Accountant will collaborate with operations and administration teams to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ledger management, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial reporting.
- Experience with invoicing, billing, GST, and other Indian taxation and compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Hospet and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
