We're looking for a detail-oriented and responsible accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and finance operations for Lawctopus and Lawctopus Law School. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting fundamentals who can independently manage bookkeeping, invoices, payments, reconciliations, statutory compliance, payroll, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts and bookkeeping records in Tally/Zoho Books.
- Manage invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements.




- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants (CAs) for audits, taxation, and statutory filings.
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure timely completion of routine accounting and finance activities.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST, and TDS.
- Proficiency in Tally or Zoho Books and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working with startups, education, or service-based businesses is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting and finance operations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
