Job Summary

Lucknow Builders is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting, project-wise accounts, client payments, vendor accounts, construction expenses, and financial records.

The candidate should have practical experience with Tally, MS Excel, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, ledger management, billing, and project accounting.

Experience in a construction, infrastructure, or contracting company will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime / Accounting Software.
- Manage cash, bank, purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and expense entries.
- Maintain project-wise accounts and construction expenses.
- Record material purchases, labour payments, contractor bills, transportation, and site expenses.
- Maintain client-wise and project-wise ledgers.
- Record client payments and prepare payment receipts.
- Prepare and maintain client outstanding and payment due reports.
- Maintain vendor and contractor accounts and track outstanding payments.
- Verify purchase bills, invoices, quotations, and payment documents.
- Maintain petty cash and office expense records.
- Prepare monthly salary sheets and employee payment records.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain records related to GST and TDS.
- Coordinate with the CA / Tax Consultant for accounting and statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly income and expense statements.
- Prepare project-wise cost and expense reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Coordinators, Purchase Team, Vendors, Contractors, and Management regarding financial matters.




- Ensure all accounting records are updated accurately and on time.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, or Project Accounting is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Ability to manage multiple client, vendor, and project accounts.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

- Ensure timely recording of all company and project transactions.
- Maintain accurate client outstanding and vendor payment records.
- Provide timely project-wise financial reports to management.

- Complete bank and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Support management with accurate financial information for decision-making.
