We’re Hiring | Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day finance & accounting operations.
Experience: 5+ years
Industry Preference: Event / Media / Entertainment industry experience preferred
Location: Chennai
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Accounting & Finance
- Proven experience in team handling / team management
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, PF & ESI filings and compliance
- Experience in vendor management, payments and reconciliations
- Ability to independently read and interpret Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements
- Good understanding of accounts payable/receivable, statutory compliance and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple finance activities independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Handle statutory filings and compliance – GST, TDS, PF & ESI
- Manage vendors, invoices, payments and reconciliations
- Review financial statements and support reporting
- Lead and coordinate the accounts team
- Ensure timely closure of accounting and compliance activities
