My Captain is seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor to support our students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and support to students in navigating their academic journey, including course selection, study skills development, and career planning. Additionally, the Academic Counselor will collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students are receiving the necessary resources and support for success.

- Provide academic guidance and support to students in order to help them achieve their academic goals.

- Assist students in selecting courses and creating academic plans that align with their career aspirations.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to address students' academic concerns and develop solutions.




- Conduct workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and academic success strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' academic progress and provide timely feedback.
- Make referrals to campus resources for additional support if needed.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students experiencing academic difficulties.
- Stay current on academic policies, procedures, and resources to effectively support students.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, fostering a positive and supportive learning workplace.
