Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated freshers to join our team as Academic Counselors. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, generating and following up on leads, understanding their educational and career requirements, explaining suitable courses, and supporting them through the enrollment process.

This role is ideal for candidates who have excellent communication skills, confidence, a positive attitude, and an interest in education, counseling, and student engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation

- Generate prospective student leads through outbound calls, referrals, social media, campaigns, webinars, seminars, and other sources.
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and understand their requirements.
- Respond to leads received through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, websites, and other platforms.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students.
- Maintain and update lead information in the CRM or designated system.

Student Counseling
- Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Explain available courses, programs, curriculum, duration, fees, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Provide appropriate guidance based on the student's requirements.
- Handle student and parent queries professionally.
- Build a positive relationship with prospective students.

Admissions & Enrollment
- Guide students through the admission and enrollment process.
- Follow up with interested candidates and assist them with required documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for student registration and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of admissions and follow-ups.

Follow-Up & Relationship Management
- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads through calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
- Track interested, pending, and converted leads.
- Ensure timely responses to student inquiries.




- Maintain professional communication throughout the counseling process.

Target Achievement
- Work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly lead-generation and enrollment targets.
- Improve lead conversion through effective counseling and follow-up.
- Participate in seminars, webinars, workshops, education fairs, and promotional activities.

Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to make outbound calls.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a target-oriented environment.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
