Divit The South Soul Cafe is looking for a hardworking and responsible 2nd Commis to join our kitchen team.

The candidate will assist with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the senior chef/commis with daily food preparation

Handle chopping, cutting, peeling and other basic kitchen prep

Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients

Assist during busy hours and maintain smooth kitchen operations

Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Work effectively as part of a kitchen team

Requirements

Previous experience as a Commis / Kitchen Helper / Cook is preferred

Basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation





Valuable chopping and cutting skills

Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety

Ability to work under pressure during busy hours

Punctual, hardworking and willing to learn

Candidates with relevant hotel/restaurant/cafe experience are preferred

Salary

₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
