Job DescriptionLocation: Phase 2, Noida, Uttar Pradesh NCompany: NMT Automation NEngagement: Consultant / Full Time NIndustry Preference: Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing NAbout the Role: NNMT Automation is lookingfor an experienced Factory Discipline & Operations Excellence Consultant from the automotive/manufacturing sector to strengthen shop-floor discipline, operational practices and adherence to defined systems and SOPs. NThe person will bring strong automotive factory culture and shop-floor discipline into the organization and work closely with managers, supervisors and employees to build a culture of process adherence, accountability, ethics, safety, quality and operational excellence. NThis is a hands-on shop-floor role for someone who has practical experience managing manufacturing environments and can lead behavioral and operational change through presence, coaching and example. NKey Responsibilities: N1. Shop-Floor Discipline & Governance Nn Drive professional factory discipline and adherence to established shop-floor practices. N Monitor daily shop-floor practices, employee discipline, housekeeping and workplace behavior. N Work with managers and supervisors to establish clear accountability for people, processes and productivity. N Identify gaps in discipline and operational practices and ensure timely corrective action. N Bring automotive industry standards and manufacturing discipline into the organization. Nn2. SOP & Process Adherence Nn Drive strict adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards and defined processes. N Conduct regular shop-floor audits to identify deviations and non-compliance. N Coach employees and managers on the "why" behind SOP adherence, rather than relying only on enforcement. N Establish mechanisms for tracking recurring deviations and ensuring closure. Nn3. Employee Training & Capability Building Nn Design and conduct practical training programmes for shop-floor employees and managers. N Train employees on:

Nn4. Factory Culture& Behavior Nn Help build a culture of discipline, ownership, integrity and respect. N Identify behavioral patterns that impact productivity, quality, safety or employee morale. N Work with leadership toreinforce expected behaviors consistently across levels. N Act as a role model forprofessional and ethical conduct. Nn5. Manager & Supervisor Effectiveness Nn Mentor managers and supervisors on managing the shop floor effectively. N Strengthen daily management routines, reviews and accountability mechanisms. N Help managers transition from reactive firefighting to structured, process-driven management. N Conduct regular reviewswith functional leaders and highlight key operational and behavioral gaps. Nn6. Continuous Improvement Nn Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, discipline and process compliance. N Introduce relevant practices from automotive and mature manufacturing environments. N Support implementation of initiatives such as 5S, visual management, daily management systems, root-cause analysis and standard work. N Track improvement initiatives and report progress to the leadership team. NnWhat We Are Looking For: Nn 15+ years of relevant experience in automotive, auto components or a highly disciplined manufacturing environment. N Prior experience in plant / factory / shop-floor management is strongly preferred. N Experience working withproduction teams, supervisors, operators and factory managers. N Strong understanding ofSOPs, work instructions, quality systems, safety and manufacturing discipline. N Proven experience in employee training, coaching and behavioural change.



N Strong understanding of5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, visual management and daily management systems. N Ability to influence managers and employees without relying solely on positional authority. N Solid personal integrity, maturity and professional ethics. N Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills. N Hands-on, practical andcomfortable spending significant time on the shop floor.
