Job DescriptionPosition: Database Administrator (DBA - MS SQL) NExperience: 6-12 Years NLocation: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad NNotice Period: Immediate Joiners / Up to 30 Days NJob Summary: NWe are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA - MS SQL) with strong expertise in MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, AWS RDS, Database Migration Service (DMS), Performance Tuning, and High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, optimization, migrations, performance management, and ensuring high availability of critical database environments. NKey Responsibilities: Nn Manage, monitor, and maintain MS SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments. N Administer and support Sybase and Oracle database environments. N Perform database migrations using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and other migration tools. N Implement and manage AWS RDS database solutions. N Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency. N Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, Replication, and Clustering. N Conduct database backup, recovery, security, patching, and upgrade activities.



N Analyze and resolve database-related incidents and performance bottlenecks. N Ensure database security, compliance, and operational best practices. N Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams for database optimization and deployment. NnRequired Skills: Nn Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration. N Experience with Sybase ASE and Oracle Databases. N Expertise in AWS RDS and cloud-based database administration. N Hands-on experience with AWS DMS for database migration projects. N Strong knowledge of SQLPerformance Tuning and Query Optimization. N Experience in implementing and managing High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions. N Knowledge of Backup & Recovery, Replication, Clustering, and Disaster Recovery planning. N Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. N Robust scripting skillsusing PowerShell, SQL Scripts, or Shell Scripting. NnPreferred Skills: Nn AWS Cloud certification is an added advantage. N Experience in database modernization and cloud migration projects. N Knowledge of DevOps andInfrastructure Automation tools. N
