Job DescriptionAbout the Role NWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead financial service delivery across key U.S.-based client accounts. This role serves as a critical bridge between accounting execution and advisory-focused financial leadership, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and insight-ready financial information. NThe Controller will partner closely with clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality financial reporting, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed business decision-making. Success in this role requires strong accounting expertise, client relationship management, leadership capability, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. NKey ResponsibilitiesnClient Ownership & Strategic Delivery Nn Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. N Build strong working relationships with clients, Venturity Controllers, and internal stakeholders. N Participate in client financial reviews and summits, presenting results, business drivers, risks, and recommendations. N Support onboarding, transitions, scope expansion, and process improvement across client accounts. NnClose Management &Financial; Reporting Nn Manage month-end close activities for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. N Review close binders, reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packages before client submission. N Maintain close calendars, coordinate deliverables, and meet reporting deadlines. N Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and business drivers to highlight key issues and opportunities. NnFinancial Insight & Advisory Support Nn Translate accounting outputs into clear financial insights and business narratives. N Explain performance changes, underlying drivers, and potential business impact. N Anticipate operational and financial risks and recommend corrective actions.



N Support advisory discussions with decision-ready analysis and reporting. NnClient Communication & Stakeholder Management Nn Ensure client communications are timely, professional, and solution-oriented. N Share weekly updates, key action items, and critical business developments. N Facilitate client and internal review meetings to align priorities and deliverables. N Escalate risks, delays,or issues with practical recommendations and resolution plans. NnTeam Leadership & Performance Management Nn Mentor, coach, and support Assistant Controllers and Senior Assistant Controllers across engagements. N Review key deliverablesfor quality, accuracy, and completeness before client submission. N Provide developmental feedback and support career growth initiatives. N Foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. NnTechnical Expertise & Process Excellence Nn Act as a subject matter expert in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. N Provide guidance on complex accounting matters and reporting challenges. N Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and documentation standards are consistently applied. N Enhance SOPs, review frameworks, reporting methodologies, and ERP-enabled efficiencies. NnProcess Improvement & Automation Nn Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and workflow optimization. N Drive initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, and reporting quality. N Resolve recurring process issues through root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.



N Champion best practicesand continuous improvement across client engagements. NnControls, Governance & Quality Reviews Nn Ensure compliancewith U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and established accounting policies. N Conduct quality reviewsand monitor binder quality, reporting accuracy, and process adherence. N Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and client-related risks. N Drive closure of reviewobservations and promote quality, accountability, and risk awareness. NnQualifications & Requirements Nn CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification. N 5+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting. N Strong understanding ofU.S. GAAP and controllership practices. N Experience supporting U.S.-based clients in shared services, outsourcing, or professional services environments. N Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, or equivalent.
