Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionJoin Us as a Senior Programmer Analyst – Make an Impact at the Forefront of InnovationThe Senior Programmer Analyst performs advanced bioinformatics programming activities supporting the statistical and computational requirements of research projects.The Senior Programmer Analyst:Works independently in a lead programmer role on selected moderately complex studiesMay serve as a study team member under the direction of a lead programmer on more complex studiesProvides training and guidance to junior team membersWhat You’ll DoProgramming & Bioinformatics ActivitiesIndependently create, execute, maintain, and validate programs that:Transfer data across multiple data management systems or operating systemsCombine data from a variety of sources and structuresGenerate and store summary data from a variety of sourcesGenerate reports or combine multiple databasesValidate programs that generate listings, tables, and figures using SASStudy Leadership & Project ManagementAct as the lead programmer on selected studies of moderate complexityWork directly with project team leaders and client representativesAssess and develop project goals and timelinesAssume leadership responsibility as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary clinical trials project teamCommunicate actively and frequently with team members as neededAssignment & Quality ManagementManage and document assignments to meet timelines and deliver high-quality workMaintain awareness of relevant contractual obligations or limitsProvide quality control review for statistical programmingTraining & DevelopmentIncrease knowledge and professional skills in programming technology and techniques, clinical trials, and the pharmaceutical industryProvide training and guidance to junior team membersTrain and mentor othersDepartmental & Strategic SupportProvide general infrastructure support to the department,
