Job Overview We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to ownquality assurance across the frontend-to-middleware boundary of amulti-step web onboarding workflow. This role goes beyond scriptedexecution — it requires the analytical depth to design exploratorytest strategies, apply structured testing techniques likeequivalence partitioning, and validate that the workflow'sstep-by-step progression and submission states behave correctlyunder a wide range of input conditions. The candidate will reviewthe evidence produced by the Manual QA Tester and convert observedfrontend behaviour into a validated state model/FSM, includingdecision forks, equivalence classes, persona-specific behaviour,and boundary conditions. The ideal candidate is comfortabletriaging complex defects and driving them to resolution. ProjectDetails Title: Senior QA Analyst (Frontend) - (India) Rate: $6/hrStart Date: 19th October Duration: 4 Weeks Commitment: 40 Hours perweek Location: India (Remote) Job Type: Freelance (with thepossibility of full time employment based on performance andproject needs in all opportunity) Responsibilities Design andexecute advanced exploratory testing to uncover issues not capturedby scripted test cases, particularly around how form-levelvalidation carries through to submission behaviour Apply boundarytesting techniques to identify edge-case failures across frontendinput handling and the middleware calls that consume that data Useequivalence partitioning to design productive, high-coverage testcases across valid, invalid, and edge-case input classes for formand workflow fields Validate application behavior against definedstate models (e.g., step progression, enabled/disabled actionstates, submission and confirmation states) to confirm correcttransitions under both expected and unexpected input Lead defecttriage sessions, prioritizing issues by severity, impact,



andreproducibility Partner with developers to clarify root causes andconfirm fixes against original defect conditions Mentor junior QAtesters on exploratory techniques and structured test designContribute to test strategy documentation and coverage planning forfrontend/middleware features Formalize and maintain the onboardingFSM/state-transition model based on observed application behavior.Identify and document decision forks, state dependencies,persona-specific variations, and boundary conditions. Validatecoverage across the representative onboarding personas and identifygaps requiring additional controlled testing. Produce a validatedfrontend/state-model evidence package for handoff to the MiddlewareSDET workstream. Maintain traceability between observed UIbehavior, FSM states, decision forks, and supporting evidence.Required Qualifications Solid 3-5+ years of experience as a QAAnalyst with exposure to both frontend and middleware testingDemonstrated expertise in exploratory and boundary testingmethodologies Practical experience applying equivalencepartitioning and other formal test design techniques Familiaritywith state-machine / workflow-state concepts and validatingmulti-step systems against expected state transitions Strong defecttriage experience, including severity/priority classification andcross-team coordination Analytical mindset with the ability toidentify non-obvious edge cases Effective communicator capable ofguiding triage discussions and mentoring peers Experience testingcomplex multi-step workflows, onboarding systems, registrationflows, or account-creation processes is strongly preferred. Abilityto translate observed application behavior into structuredstate-transition models or equivalent workflow representations.Working familiarity with browser and network developer tools ispreferred; deep protocol-level expertise is notrequired.
