- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets in line with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of production activities.
- Utilize advanced production planning tools and techniques to analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and track production performance metrics, including yield, cycle times, downtime, and throughput, to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)



for production planning and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Drive initiatives for inventory optimization, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, to minimize inventory holding costs while ensuring product availability.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning and control roles in the tire manufacturing industry only. No other industry experience will be considered.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Master's degree preferred.
