Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Application Architect with strong expertise in modernizing traditional/legacy applications and driving cloud-native development initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, delivery, and customer stakeholders to define scalable, innovative, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Primary Qualifications:

- 7–10 years of experience in application development, solution architecture, or application modernization
- Experience in technical pre-sales, including customer workshops, solutioning, proposals, architecture presentations, and RFP/RFI responses
- Strong experience in legacy application transformation, modernization, and cloud migration
- Strong expertise in system design, solution architecture, and architecture decision-making
- Experience in application assessment, rationalization, modernization strategy, and target-state architecture
- Experience in Application design including:
- Microservices architecture
- Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- API-led development and integration




- Event-driven architecture and messaging

- Hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with cloud-native development frameworks, patterns, and services
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, availability, resiliency, and observability
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

Core Responsibilities:

Application Architecture

- Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into compelling technical solutions
- Lead pre-sales engagements, including solution design, architecture proposals, and client presentations
- Assess existing legacy/traditional applications and recommend modernization strategies (re-platforming, re-hosting, refactoring, re-architecting)
- Design cloud-native architectures leveraging microservices, containers, and serverless technologies
- Create solution blueprints, effort estimations, and high-level implementation roadmaps
- Stay updated with latest trends in cloud platforms, DevOps, and application modernization

Presales Expertise

- Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality technical presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Participate in customer meetings and workshops to showcase infrastructure solutions.
- Provide cost and effort estimations for proposed solutions
- Drive RFP/RFI responses, solution defense, and technical workshops
- Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution
