Position Overview – Trainee Cashier

We are looking for a Trainee Cashier to join our Casino Operations team. The candidate will be trained in casino cashiering, cash handling, gaming-related transactions, guest service, documentation, reconciliation, internal controls, and applicable compliance procedures.
The role requires accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, alertness, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive, count, verify, and issue cash accurately.
• Process authorized casino cash, chip, token, voucher, and other gaming-related transactions as applicable.
• Maintain accurate cash balances, transaction records, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with cashier opening, closing, reconciliation, and shift handover procedures.
• Identify and report cash shortages, excesses, discrepancies, counterfeit currency, suspicious or irregular transactions.
• Follow all casino SOPs, internal controls, authorization procedures, identification/verification requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.




• Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information, transactions, cash balances, and company information.
• Provide professional and courteous service to casino guests and handle routine cashiering queries.
• Escalate transaction issues, guest complaints, or irregularities to the appropriate supervisor.
• Coordinate with Casino Operations, Surveillance, Security, Finance, and other departments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashiering area.
• Work rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/management.

Candidate Requirements
• Graduate; Commerce or related qualification preferred.
• Freshers may apply; prior experience in cashiering, banking, retail or finance will be an advantage.
• Basic computer and MS Office knowledge, Knowledge of Tally is beneficial.
