Position : Jr Service Pilot Engineer (East Zone)
Department: Aftersales & Technical Support
Role Scope:Managing all aftersales and technical service requirements in the Eastern region. Service may be extended to other parts of India as per operational needs.
1. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Jr Service Pilot Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of customer drones through technical assessments, repairs, flight testing and compliance with regulatory requirements. The role demands strong analytical, technical and operational skills to support aftersales services and field operations.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initial Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of customer drones to verify any damages or irregularities.
• Technical Analysis: Retrieve and analyse flight logs to identify technical defects and implement corrective measures to rectify identified issues.
• Maintenance & Assembly: Perform assembly, disassembly and maintenance of drones in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).




• Test Flights: Develop expertise to conduct test flights post-repair or assembly, ensuring compliance with Flying SOPs.
• Aftersales Workshop Setup: Understand aftersales workshop requirements and initiate actions to establish a fully functional workshop.
• Workshop Management: Manage all equipment, tools, stationery and drones under repair within the aftersales workshop.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on current DCA regulations and initiate necessary steps for obtaining drone and pilot approvals.
• Customer Training: Conduct maintenance and operational training at customer sites as per requirements.
• Field Trials: Participate in field trials, understanding specific technical and operational requirements.
• In office Technical Support: Visit customer sites to rectify technical defects, perform scheduled maintenance, and conduct clearance flight tests.
