Position Summary
The Senior Game Designer owns and drives game design across the project, ensuring that the team is aligned with the game vision and delivers the best player experiences. We expect you to champion excellent communication, design best practices and creative solutions to practical challenges.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
• You Own, drive, and communicate the vision for major design initiatives
• Recruit and train designers for your initiatives.
• Work closely with product managers, producers, engineers, and artists to design and prototype new gameplay and systems.
• Build and improve tools to make the design pipeline faster and more efficient for the team.
• Be the advocate of good design practices across the studio.

Work Experience and Skills

• Deep understanding of games and what makes them fun, both as a gamer and a professional.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and leading a team.
• Deep understanding of Core Gameplay,



Feedback Loops, Free to Play best practices, System creation and Balancing techniques
• 5+ years of professional game development experience as a game designer, experience with system game design.
• Widely played, especially with online and mobile games, with the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, analysis skills.
• Team player with great interpersonal skills
• Capable of working in a rapid-paced environment
• Goal Driven with high productivity.
• Experience in working on social games is a plus
• Passion for games is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, we further value candidates with graduate degrees and/or top tier university pedigree.
