Role Description The Director/Deputy Director – Placements will lead the placements function for Amity University Jharkhand, ensuring solid employment outcomes for students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, industry associations, and alumni to create internship and job opportunities. The role involves designing and implementing placement strategies, conducting employer outreach, organizing campus recruitment drives, and coordinating pre-placement talks and selection processes. The Director/Deputy Director will oversee student training for employability, including resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills development, while collaborating with academic departments to align curriculum with market requirements. The role also includes monitoring placement metrics, preparing reports for leadership, managing a placements team, and ensuring transparent and inclusive placement processes.

• Candidates should possess Finance awareness to understand employer requirements in business and corporate roles and to interpret placement-related data.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with employers, students, and faculty.
• Relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, HR, or career services, preferably in higher education or professional institutes.
• Proven ability to develop placement strategies, meet targets, and manage a team in a fast-paced, student-centric environment.
