About The Role

As our first dedicated DevOps engineer, you'll take primary ownership of our infrastructure and delivery processes while continuing to build backend services. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, roughly 70% DevOps and 30% backend engineering, working with our international engineering team.

Your first priority will be to understand our current setup, identify the biggest opportunities, and turn them into a practical improvement roadmap. Datadog is already in place. You'll establish CI/CD and infrastructure as code, and introduce containerization where it adds value. You'll help choose the tools and approach that fit our stage of growth.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with over 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform,



or backend engineering roles, with substantial hands-on responsibility for production infrastructure. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of impactful contributions through automation, infrastructure management, and backend development. Expertise in cloud environments, Linux, networking, and troubleshooting is essential, along with solid skills in monitoring, incident response, and security. Familiarity with SQL/MySQL, containerization tools such as Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is also required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate asynchronously across time zones are highly valued.
