Job Description Assistant Manager - Campus Operations

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager - Campus Operations will support the Head Campus Operations in ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient day-to-day functioning of the campus. The role will focus on vendor management, student accommodation, campus events, wellness initiatives, stakeholder coordination, compliance support, and oversight of campus support services

Key Responsibilities

• Campus Operations & Stakeholder Management
• Support daily campus operations and service delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor service standards and provide regular operational updates.
• Support implementation of operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Ensure operational readiness for academic activities, events, and campus visits.
• Vendor Management & Administration
• Maintain vendor database and service provider directory.
• Manage vendor onboarding, documentation, compliance,



and performance reviews.
• Support vendor evaluations, quotations, contract administration, and renewals.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and outsourced partners.
• Student Accommodation & Campus Services
• Act as the primary liaison between UNSW and student accommodation providers.
• Coordinate hostel operations and support student welfare, communication, and issue resolution.
• Oversee service delivery across Facilities Management, Housekeeping, Front Office, Security, and Event Coordination teams through regular reviews and reporting.
• Support campus events, wellness initiatives, and student engagement activities.
• Facilities, Safety & Compliance
• Coordinate with Facilities Management teams to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of campus infrastructure.
• Maintain a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety systems, and preventive maintenance practi
