Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Credit Policy

• Develop and implement credit strategies aligned with GTM goals, including customer eligibility, loan limits, and exposure decisions across the lifecycle
• Leverage telecom, wallet, bureau, and mobile app data to optimize underwriting and customer segmentation
• Design and enhance customer journeys and engagement strategies to improve usage, credit awareness, and repayment behavior across digital channels (App, SMS, USSD, OBD)
• Collaborate with external collection agencies and optimize collection strategies, including direct debit rules and delinquency management
• Identify growth opportunities within partner customer segments to drive top-line revenue
• Build frameworks to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of credit strategies and portfolio performance

Portfolio Monitoring & Governance

• Develop portfolio tracking metrics and dashboards in collaboration with the tech team
• Monitor key portfolio indicators including PDD (Post Disbursement Documents) MIS and ensure pendency is within acceptable limits




• Coordinate with partner teams to manage due/overdue PDD processes effectively
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with data science, product, and operations teams to maintain portfolio health
• Propose and implement continuous improvements in risk, compliance, and operational efficiency

Key Skills Required

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong understanding of credit risk management, scorecards, and underwriting in unsecured lending
• Hands-on experience with data-driven credit strategy and policy implementation
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark (Big Data workplace such as Hadoop/Spark preferred)
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in credit decisioning

Business & Strategic Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives
• Experience in developing and optimizing cred
