Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payments and receivables, managing accounts payable, and assisting with payroll-related entries. The role involves supporting monthly and annual closing activities, preparing basic financial reports,



and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will also coordinate with project teams and management to provide accurate cost and expense information for construction projects.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements relevant to construction businesses.
