Every project needs a developer who can turn requirements into clean, working WordPress builds — custom themes, plugin customization, and PHP-based solutions — without needing constant hand-holding. This role exists to do exactly that: build and extend WordPress sites for client projects, working closely with PMs and delivery leads to translate requirements into solid, standards-compliant code. What you'll really be doing Custom Theme & Plugin Development Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, hooks, filters, and actions Write clean,



well-documented, and standards-compliant code for current builds and existing sites Implement customizations based on requirements received from PMs or delivery leads 2. Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve backend issues, plugin conflicts, PHP errors, and performance bottlenecks Work across staging and production environments with minimal turnaround time Provide clear documentation of issues identified and resolutions applied 3. Performance & Security Best Practices Apply WordPress security best practices during development and customization Optimize code and database queries for performance Apply caching strategies where relevant to project requirements 4.Third-Party Integrations Integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and third-party services into WordPress environments Troubleshoot integration issues during development and testing 5.Woocommerce Support Build and customize Wo
